Just one example of how it looks when it is applied.

Liquid latex is a latex compound that is derived from tree sap. In its natural form, latex dries to a shiny clear color. The formula for liquid latex includes a small amount of ammonia to help retard spoilage. This ammonia begins to dissipate as soon as the container is opened. A typical formulation of liquid latex contains water, natural latex sap and ammonia. Colors are achieved by adding special tints. These tints are non-staining to skin. As the liquid latex dries, the colors darken and the latex forms a highly elastic rubber. The latex formula does not absorb into the skin, consequently it does not clog pores. When applied to skin it allows the skin to continue to breathe permitting natural body oils and perspiration to form. This will eventually cause the latex to separate naturally from the body after several hours of wear. Foam brushes & rollers are recommended when applying Fantasy Liquid Latex.

Precautions (Please Read Carefully)

Our special formulation of Fantasy Liquid Latex has been tested directly on the skin repeatedly since its invention. No negative effects have been noted. However, precautions must be used.

FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT: Always do a spot test before using. Paint a small area on the inside arm or wrist. Let dry and remove. If a rash occurs, wash with warm soap and water and discontinue use.

SENSITIVE SKIN OR ALLERGIES: Anyone with sensitive skin or known allergies to ammonia, sulfur or latex should avoid using Fantasy Liquid Latex. A small amount of ammonia is used in the formula. Anyone sensitive to ammonia or anyone with skin or respiratory allergies should not use Fantasy Liquid Latex. Anyone with allergies to latex should not use any latex products against the skin. AGAIN, if a rash occurs simply wash with warm soap and water. Do NOT take internally or use internally. Open windows for good ventilation while ammonia dissipates. Keep away from children and pets.

WARNING: FANTASY LIQUID LATEX WILL BOND TO BODY HAIR. READ "HOW TO APPLY" BEFORE STARTING TO PAINT. CAUTION: FANTASY LIQUID LATEX WILL BOND PERMANENTLY TO FABRIC the latex flows around individual fibers and will adhere firmly and permanently. To protect your carpeting, tile grouting, wood floors and everything else lay down a plastic sheet before beginning to paint. Even a plastic trash bag will work if you don't have a sheet. Fantasy Liquid Latex will react strongly and cause corrosion with certain metals. Do not use with silver, iron or copper compounds (including brass and bronze).
